KAJIAN LITERATUR: PENGARUH KOMPETENSI KEWIRAUSAHAAN TERHADAP KINERJA USAHATANI

Abstract

Farming is an important sector in Indonesia's agrarian economy which plays a role as a food provider and the main source of income for rural communities. However, the sector faces challenges in the form of climate change, resource constraints, and fluctuations in market prices. Entrepreneurial competence is a key factor in improving the performance of farming through innovation capabilities, resource management, marketing, and risk taking. This study uses a literature review method to analyze the influence of entrepreneurial competence on farming performance. The results of the study show that entrepreneurial competence contributes significantly to increasing productivity, income, and farmers' adaptability to market dynamics. The success of farming is also supported by social capital, entrepreneurial characteristics, and technological innovation. However, the development of entrepreneurial competencies is still constrained by low access to training, limited capital, and inadequate infrastructure. Therefore, an integrated policy involving the government, educational institutions, and the private sector is needed to strengthen the entrepreneurial competence of farmers and improve the performance of farming in Indonesia in a sustainable manner
